Earl Bergersen

Biography

Dr. Earl Bergersen received his D.D.S. and M.S.D. from Northwestern University Dental School. Dr. Bergersen is a Board Certified Orthodontist. He taught at Northwestern University Post Graduate Department of Orthodontics for 24 years as well as practicing orthodontics for 35 years in Winnetka, IL. Dr. Bergersen has been developing orthodontic products for many years. Dr. Bergersen developed the only preventive orthodontic appliance for use in the 5 to 7 year old child. In addition to the Nite-Guide appliance, Dr. Bergersen has developed other appliances for all other age patients. These appliances include the Occluso-Guide, Ortho-T, Ortho-Tain, Habit-Corrector, Hawley-Form, and the Snore-Cure. These appliances have been used on over 2 million patients worldwide. Currently he holds over 400 U.S. and foreign patents. Dr. Bergersen has lectured worldwide and has given over 100 seminars. Dr. Bergersen has been a research advisor and lecturer at several universities including Tufts University, Marquette University, Turku University in Finland, and the University of San Paulo in Brazil.
