Biography
G. William Page is a Professor in the Department of Urban and Regional PlanningA.B. (politics), Princeton University M.C.R.P., Rutgers University Ph.D. (urban planning and policy development), Rutgers University Course(s) Land Use and Physical Planning (an MUP required course), Environmental Planning Methods, Environmental Planning and Policy, and Environmental Planning Support Systems. Dr. Page directs the specialization in environmental and physical planning for the MUP program. Professor Page spent academic year 2003-04 as a Fulbright Scholar teaching environmental management and policy at Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City.
Research Interest
Dr. Page’s research focuses on a variety of issues related to environmental planning, which involves the study of how to use the planning process to minimize the negative effects of the natural environment on humans and of human settlements on the natural environment. At present, his efforts are focused on how cities and metropolitan areas can reduce their emissions of greenhouse gases to help control global warming.
