Biography
Dr. Joan Wu graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. After serving her internal medicine internship at Harvard University's New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston, she went on to complete her specialty training in both clinical dermatology and dermatologic surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. Wu is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. She is a published author and has presented at the annual American Academy of Dermatology meetings. Her area of interest is general dermatology. She is currently on staff at the Dekalb Medical Center and is also a member of several medical organizations.
