Biography
Dr. Bhattacharya received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Maryland at College Park, Condensed Matter Physics in 1992. He spent two years as a postdoctoral fellow in The Penn State University (1992-1994). He joined Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI as a research associate for 4-years(1994-1998) and as a research assistant professor for 2-years (1998-2000) before joining UCF in 2000, where he is an Associate Professor Since 2006.
Research Interest
Theoretical and Simulation Studies Soft Condensed Matter, Polymer, & Biologically inspired physics, Complex and Disordered Systems, Computational Materials Physics, Nonlinear elasticity of of Biological Network, and Physics of Cancer.
