Biography
Karisa Workman has been teaching at UCF since 1999. Prior to teaching Fundamentals of Oral Communication (including the Communication Apprehension section) and Intercultural Communication at UCF, she taught several different communication and education courses at Southern Nazarene University. She enjoys speaking to groups of new teachers about effective instructional methods and to elementary school children about controlling nerves during classroom presentations. She enjoys teaming up with colleagues and presenting workshops at the annual Florida Communication Association.
