Biography
I am interested in the role of immune responses in the life history of social insects such as the termite. In addition, I am also involved in studies designed to intervene in the incidence of allergic asthma in inner city children that have developed allergies to cockroaches
Research Interest
The main interest in my lab is the study of the evolution of humoral and cellular immunity. In particular, the elucidation of the adaptive humoral immune response in the American cockroach at both the biological and molecular levels
