Joshua Briones

Biography

Joshua is a Manager at The Virtual Computing Environment Company (VCE) in Global Pricing Operations. He is responsible for Pricing Operations and Sales Finance for North and South America and for Global Productivity for pricing enablement worldwide. VCE, a privately held company formed in 2009, leads in the hi-tech converged infrastructure space. He joined VCE in 2010 as one of the first 250 employees and successfully helped the company climb to over $1.2B in revenue in 3 years with over 2000 employees, making it one of the fastest growing companies in history to reach $1B in revenue (only being surpassed by Groupon). His past experience includes working for Accenture in their Corporate Transaction Services organization, consulting for Grey Global Group in Customer Relationship Management and Business Intelligence, and Bell Helicopter in Global Pricing. Joshua has over 12 years’ experience in Sales Finance, Sales/Business Operations, Sales Support, and Commercial Business Advisory. He developed and executed business operation strategy for both goods and services and specializes in global operations, pricing/costing strategy, opportunity assessment, business case and business valuation, deal negotiations and deal structuring, procurement and manufacturing logistics, and process development. He received a B.B.A. in Finance and an M.B.A. in Strategic Management from Angelo State University, and a Masters of Management in Global Business from The University of Dallas. At VCE he currently serves on the leadership team for sales operations training globally and the VCE Corporate Culture organization, responsible for defining and redefining VCE corporate culture. Joshua and his wife Mandy have two boys (Tressan and Liam) and a 3rd due early 2015. Joshua is an avid traveler, and enjoys cooking, home projects, and gym time.
