Rich Berard

Biography

Rich Berard is senior vice president of Hunt Consolidated, Inc. In this capacity, he heads the Office of Program Management, which is responsible for the project management, oversight and coordination for many of the growth, investment and business building programs of the company. Prior to this assignment, Berard led groups within the Hunt organization in the areas of strategic management reporting, corporate finance, financial administration and strategic planning. Before joining the Hunt companies in 2002, Berard was employed by Arthur Andersen, LLP, and managed multiple projects for Andersen's Global Energy practice in Houston, Texas. While at Andersen, he consulted to global energy clients in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, business transformation and reengineering, strategic cost management and organizational optimization and design. Prior to Arthur Andersen, he spent three years as an energy economist employed by a foreign government analyzing energy markets and large scale global energy investment opportunities. Dr. Berard received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of Miami, a Master of Science (MS) degree in economics with honors from Bentley University and a Doctorate of Business (DBA) degree from Georgia State University with honors and membership into Golden Key Honor Society. Berard resides in Murphy, TX with his wife of 22 years (Ann) and two sons, Jake (19 years old) and Jamison (10 years old).
