She has done her B.A., Biology, Grinnell College, 1992, M.S., Bacteriology, University of Wisconsin-Madison, 1996, Ph.D., Bacteriology, University of Wisconsin-Madison, 2000. Currently she is an Associate Professor in Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences at University of Illinois.
