Biography
He has done his Ph.D.: Plant Systematics, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign - 2008, M.S.: Phytochemistry, University of Alaska Fairbanks - 2001, B.S.: Forestry/Wildlife Management, Stephen F. Austin State University - 1995. Currently he is a research assistant professor in Department of Crop Sciences at University of Illinois.
Research Interest
Adaptive evolution of agricultural weeds, mainly Amaranthus spp. (Amaranthaceae) Plant Systematics; Phylogenetic studies in Artemisia (Asteraceae) and Acacia (Fabaceae) Economic Botany and Ethnobotany Plant Secondary Metabolism; Chemical diversity, evolution, and bioactivity
