He is a director at Integrated Bioprocessing Research Laboratory (IBRL), Agricultural and Biological Engineering, University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. Also he is a professor at Institute of Genomic Biology, University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. He has received his Ph.D and M.S. degree in Agricultural Engineering at University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. His research areas includes Food and Bioprocess Engineering.
