Biography

The primary goal of my clinical, educational, and research endeavor is to offer my patients the most outstanding experience in treatment and outcomes, but also in their understanding of the eye problems affecting them or their child or children. I hope to improve the quality of life for each and every person I care for by providing clear diagnositic and theraputic information and tailoring patient-specific treatment plans that improve or preserve sight, function, comfort, and prevent complications. My educational interest is in training the next generations of subspecialist and comprehensive physicians to become experts in pediatric ophthalmic diseases, ocular surgery, and motility disorders. My research interest is to investigate causes of important pediatric ophthalmic conditions including genetic ocular disease, ROP, congenital cataracts, and congenital glaucoma. Our projects seek to improve our understanding of these disease processes and deliver personalized medicine to patients of all backgrounds. I am thankful for the opportunity to apply my passion and dedication to a clinical need and I am proud to be part of an incredibly talented team!

Research Interest

Pediatric ophthalmology, genetics, cataract, glaucoma, strabismus, diplopia, retinopathy, oculoplastics, ROP
