Biography
I graduated from pulmonary critical care fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York in 2008. Following graduation, I joined the Advanced Lung Disease-Lung Transplant Group in Mount Sinai where for the next few years I cared for Advanced Lung Disease patients ( pulmonary fibrosis, Sarcoidosis, COPD, Pulmonary Complications from Solid Organ and Stem Cell Transplant) and a small group of lung transplant recipients under the mentorship of my accomplished seniors. In 2011, I briefly joined the Critical Care Faculty at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine prior to pursuing Lung Transplant Fellowship at Duke University in North Carolina in 2012. At Duke, I gained the invaluable experience of caring for a large number of complex pre and post-transplant recipients under the guidance of other experienced lung transplant providers. I joined faculty at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in the Fall of 2013 to join the UMMS Cardiothoracic Transplant Team.
