Biography
Dr. Cheston received her undergraduate degree from Smith College and medical degree from the University of Maryland. She completed her residency and fellowship at the University of Maryland, where she also served as Chief Resident. Following residency, Dr. Cheston joined the faculty at the University of Maryland, Department of Radiation Oncology, and has practiced at the department’s community-based center in Howard County since 1996. She has been the Medical Director at Central Maryland Radiation Oncology since 2000. Dr. Cheston’s clinical focus is radiation therapy for breast cancer, but she also practices as a general radiation oncologist.
