Biography
Dr. Stanley Liu is an assistant professor in the Division of Caridovascular Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He completed his medical degree at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine before returning to his native state of Maryland for his residency and fellowship training. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center followed by a cardiology fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He has served on the faculty at the University of Maryland Medical Center since 2015. He currently serves as the Director of Inpatient Consultative Services and is directing efforts to establish a sustainable cardiac rehabilitation program for patients with heart disease. He has a strong interest in secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease in high-risk patients and improving the quality of care provided to hospital patients.
