Biography
Dr. Phillip Sprangle received his doctorate in applied physics from Cornell University. He is an American Physical Society (APS, 1981). Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE, 1997) Directed Energy Professional Society (DEPS, 2005). Now he is an Optical Society of America (OSA, 2010)
Research Interest
high-energy lasers, ultra-short pulse laser matter interaction and propagation, nonlinear optics, free electron lasers, nonlinear plasma physics and laser driven accelerators
