Research Interest
Research interests of Rasapalli group lie in the general area of medicinal chemistry with a focus on the development of new strategies for the preparation of complex molecules possessing interesting biological properties. Our research interests are interdisciplinary in nature. We are interested in the exploration of the potential of natural products for the development of novel chemistry, and novel drugs. Our interests are driven by the quest for the development of GREENER APRROCHES. Our main focus is directed towards development of novel anti-bacterial leads through modification of natural products derived from marine sponges and Cranberry of southcoast origin.
