Biography
Pam McAuslan is a social psychologist who has been at the University of Michigan-Dearborn since 1998. She regularly teaches Social Psychology, Psychology of Interpersonal Relationships, Principles of Statistics and Experimental Design, as well as Advanced Methods and Statistics in Health Psychology (grad class). Research Interest
Her research interests focus on several themes including: understanding factors related to the experience of intimate partner violence (both victimization and perpetration); how popular media both reflects and influences culture; impression management and gender. She has a strong foundation in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, as well as expertise in advanced statistical techniques including structural equation modeling and conditional process analysis (moderation and mediation.
