Biography
Carolina Arlota joined the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2012 as an Adjunct Professor. She has taught courses on Immigration Law, and several international topics, including: International Commercial Arbitration, International Investment Arbitration, International Business Transactions, Comparative Law, and European Union Law.Carolina holds an LL.M. and a J.S.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In Illinois, Carolina was awarded the Lemann Graduate Fellowship. She was also a recipient of prestigious fellowships granted by the TINKER Foundation and by the Fondation pour le Droit Continental (Université Paris II, Pantheon Assas – located in Paris, France). Her doctoral thesis, concluded in 2015, investigates the Brazilian federalism vis-à-vis the U.S. system, including relevant consequences to constitutional review.
