Biography
i am an environmental social scientist interested in research in sustainability and the role of culture in coupled human and natural systems. One of the goals of applied research is to better understand how communities can balance the needs of economic development with the exigencies of the natural environment. Before coming on-board with the EPSCoR project I worked as an adjunct professor teaching anthropology courses at Governor’s State University, Triton College, and College of Lake County in the Chicago area of Illinois.
