Biography
Dr. Sudarshan Dhall is Professor in the School of ComputerScience at the University of Oklahoma. He received his PhD in computerscience from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1977. He taught at Murray State University, KY, and the University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama, before joining the University of Oklahoma in1980. His research interests are in the areas of parallel anddistributed computing, graph algorithms, and operating systems.Recently he has expanded his interests into reconfigurable computing.He is co-author of two books in parallel computing, and has published about 90 technical papers in archival journals, proceedings ofnational/international conferences, and as book chapters. He has received over one million dollars in research funds as PI/Co-PI from federal agencies and industry.
