Biography
Tim Ford is an assistant professor in the department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Oklahoma. Broadly speaking, his research explores the relationship between policy, the social organization of schooling and school improvement. More specifically, Dr. Ford specializes in the use of advanced quantitative methods in examining the role of social trust in school improvement and the role of school leadership in facilitating more collaborative work environments. Tim earned his Ph.D. in Curriculum, Teaching, and Educational Policy at Michigan State University. He recently served as a member of the New Scholar Board for the Education Policy Analysis Archives journal as well as assistant editor for The Handbook of Education Policy Research, published by the American Educational Research Association (AERA) in 2009.
