Biography
Dr. Swigonova teaches the following courses: Biosc 0150 and 0160: Foundations of biology I and II, resp. Biosc 0805: The human body Biosc 1285: Genomics laboratory Biosc 1855: Introduction to microbiology laboratory Biosc 1860: Microbiology Laboratory Dr. Swigonova received her Ph.D. in 2002 with Dr. Karl Kjer at the Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ; performed her postdoctoral studies with Dr. Joachim Messing at Waksman Institute of Microbiology at Rutgers University and Dr. Jerry Vockley at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh; and joined the Department in 2007.
