Biography
Mark Spriggs is an associate professor in the Entrepreneurship Department of the Opus College of Business. He began his career at St. Thomas as a marketing professor, teaching marketing courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs, and served as the marketing coordinator in the part-time MBA program. In 2003, Spriggs was named department chair of the Entrepreneurship Department, and in 2005 was named director of the new Schulze School of Entrepreneurship. Under his leadership, the number of students taking entrepreneurship classes at St. Thomas has grown, and he continues to promote the initiatives of the Schulze School to the Twin Cites business and entrepreneurial community. Spriggs' research interests include entrepreneurial growth, franchising, family business and marketing channel relationships.
