Biography
Chelley Vician joined the faculty in 2010 and teaches in the M.B.A., masters of science in accountancy and undergraduate business programs. She is the SAP University Alliances Faculty Coordinator, leading the integration of business process content throughout the university's programs. Chelley also serves as the ISACA academic advocate for the University of St. Thomas. She has previously taught at the business programs of Michigan Technological University, University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Her research emphasizes how individuals and teams use information systems and the barriers that may impinge upon positive outcomes in such technology-enabled environments. She also investigates the design and evaluation of technology-enabled learning experiences. She has published scholarly articles in journals such as DataBase, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, AIS Educator Journal, Journal of Information Systems Education, Group Decision and Negotiation, and numerous conference proceedings.
