Christa Copeland

Biography

"Christa has a long and dedicated history at USAO. First as a student, later as a staff member for the communications & marketing department and now as an instructor of business. Prior to joining the staff at USAO, Christa had an exciting and varied career working in the fields of health care, community relations, criminal defense, STEM education and non-profit. Her experience and focus of study includes leadership, management, traditional and digital marketing, advertising, social media and event planning. She has managed crisis communication, organizational development, recruitment strategy, and internal communication campaigns in her career. Outside of the classroom she serves on the board of directors for The Art of Encouragement, a local non-profit that sends Christmas cards to hospitalized American veterans in all 50 states. She also serves on the board of directors for the University of Central Oklahoma Alumni Association. "
