Byars Justin

Biography

Justin Byars joined the Darla Moore School of Business as a lecturer in the spring of 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of South Carolina. He attended law school at the University of Florida, earning his Juris Doctorate in 2006. He is a certified public accountant in the state of South Carolina as well as a licensed attorney in both Florida and South Carolina. Prior to joining the faculty in the School of Accounting, he worked with large, medium and small CPA firms as well as law firms specializing in tax and estate planning. He continues to work part time with Derrick Stubbs and Stith as well as his own law firm, Byars Law Firm, LLC. He teaches in the areas of taxation and business law.
