Biography
Sriram Venkataraman is an assistant professor of management science at the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business. His research focuses on health care operations, service operations and new product development. His classroom experience includes courses in service operations, intermediate business statistics, operations management and decision models for management. He holds doctoral degree from Clemson University, master's degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Alabama and a bachelor's degree from University of Mumbai, India. As a doctoral student, he worked on a research project funded by Health Sciences South Carolina. He has professional experience with SAS Institute as a graduate industrial trainee. Prior to returning to academia, he spent a year as a research associate with Netscribes (India) Pvt. Ltd.
