Biography
"Dr. Tobin graduated from Dartmouth College in 1992 and was a paramedic before earning his medical degree at Boston University in 2000. He completed an Anesthesiology Residency at the University of Washington and Critical Care Fellowship at Stanford University. Currently, Dr. Tobin is the Director of Trauma Anesthesiology at LAC + USC Medical Center. His research interests include trauma resuscitation and critical care transportation. Dr. Tobin holds two U.S. patents and is the author of numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and textbook chapters. Dr. Tobin is also a Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He has completed three combat deployments in a variety of conventional and special operations assignments. He is a Diving Medical Officer as well as a Flight Surgeon. Dr. Tobin’s awards include the Air Medal, Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal and Romanian Medal of Honor of the General Staff. "
