Biography
"Dr. Houda Alachkar received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the Ohio State University in December 2012 under the mentorship of Prof. Guido Marcucci and received her PharmD degree from Ohio Northern University in 2011. She completed a fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics at the University of Chicago in 2015 under the mentorship of Prof. Yusuke Nakamura and Prof. Wendy Stock. In September 2015, she joined the University of Southern California (USC) School of Pharmacy as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Alachkar's translational research focuses on cancer therapeutics and pharmacogenomics, particularly in acute myeloid leukemia."
