Sandra Gabriela Avila

Biography

"Dr. Avila is the Assistant Medical Director. She also is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Dr. Avila attended UCLA School of Medicine, earning her Doctor of Medicine in 2004. She completed both her internship, in 2005, and residency, in 2007, at White Memorial Medical Center Department of Family Medicine. She was certified by the American Board of Family Medicine in 2007. Dr. Avila served as lead physician at El Proyecto Del Barrio Azusa Health Center, an FQHC and community clinic, from 2007 to 2011. She joined the USC faculty in 2011. Dr. Avila teaches and practices Family Medicine for the USC/California Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program at the USC-Eisner Family Medicine Center. She speaks English and Spanish."
