Biography
Eggers' research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Race and Crime, Youth Violence and Juvenile Justice, and the Journal of Criminal Justice . She has also worked on technical reports related to drug courts that were submitted to the Campbell Collaboration, Crime and Justice Group and the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. Eggers is also a member of the American Society of Criminology and the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, where she regularly presents her research.
Research Interest
Amy Eggers’ research focuses on the intersections between demographic factors and crime/victimization. She is also interested in the relationship between immigration and crime/victimization as it relates to the individual and community level.
