Biography
Botwinski's research interests lie in end-of-life competencies and learning needs of nurse practitioners; clinical outcomes of neonatal nurse practitioners; and nursing preceptor development. She is recognized as a national speaker on a number of neonatal nursing topics. She is past-president of the Florida Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (FANNP). Botwinski holds certification as a NNP and continues to maintain a clinical practice.
Research Interest
Carol Botwinksi's teaching interests include maternal-infant nursing, pathophysiology, clinical outcomes and nursing education. In 2010 and 2011, she received the Excellence in Teaching Award from The University of Tampa's College of Natural and Health Sciences.
