Biography
An industrial and organizational psychologist, Cummings specializes in employee selection, training, performance appraisal and sexual harassment. She has researched gender differences in performance ratings, as well as factors that affect organizational commitment and retention.She has presented numerous papers on sexual harassment at various regional and national conferences, including the American Psychological Society. She recently published an article in Sex Roles examining the influence of harasser gender, participant gender, severity of harassment and the presence of bystanders on penalties for peer sexual harassment in an academic context.
