Sarah Cuccinello
Assistant Professor
Department of Biology
University of Tampa
United States of America
Biography
Cuccinello is a member of the Society for Toxicology in the Molecular Biology Specialty Section and served as the graduate student representative from 2008-2010.
Research Interest
Sarah Cuccinello specializes in molecular biology. Cuccinellos' dissertation and post-doctoral research was focused on the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) signal transduction pathway that is activated upon exposure to TCDD, a persistent environmental contaminant. Prior to her work on AHR signaling, Cuccinello worked in a neuroscience research facility that specialized in high-throughput techniques to study the genomic and proteomic profiles associated with Alzheimer's disease, Tourette syndrome and traumatic head injury.
