Biography
Dr. Farber holds a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh in Cellular and Molecular Biology. She currently teaches Introductory Biology and several courses in Neuroscience. Her research background includes studies on animal behavior, the effect of stress on the autonomic nervous system, and molecular studies of neurodegenerative disease, specifically Mucolipidosis Type IV. Her research and teaching expertise focus mainly on cellular and molecular neurobiology. Dr. Farber currently accepts undergraduates for literature based independent study.
