Biography
Laurie Kirszner teaches courses in composition, literature, and creative writing and works closely with students who are writing minors. Dr. Kirszner is coauthor of over a dozen popular college writing textbooks, including literature anthologies; grammar handbooks; rhetorical, thematic, and cross-cultural readers; and developmental writing workbooks. Her best-known text, Patterns for College Writing, has for years been the nation's best-selling college composition reader/rhetoric.
