The pathogenesis and treatment of urinary tract infections in children with neurogenic bladder. The pathogenesis of urniary tract infections in girls with recurrent UTI. Histology of the neurogenic bladder including umbrella cell function and chronic inflammatory markers. Clonal diversity of Escherichia coli and virulence factor expression among stool, periurethral and urine strains of E. coli from healthy girls and girls with recurrent UTI. Methods of urine collection and analysis in the diagnosis of urinary tract infection in children
