Biography
Dr. John Berges is working as Professor in the Department of Ecology, Evolution & Behavior in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Milwaukee USA. He has completed his Postdoctoral Fellow from the Brookhaven National Laboratory, PhD from University of British Columbia, MSc and BSc from University of Guelph. he honored with Governor General’s Gold Medal, Captain Thomas Byrne Prize (Doctoral Thesis) and NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship.
Research Interest
Dr. John Berges focused on ecology and cell biology in aquatic organisms using a range of biophysical, physiological, biochemical and molecular tools, planktonic systems, benthic and near-shore processes, spectrum of living things, from bacteria to fishes, developing indices of biological rates and processes in aquatic ecosystems using a variety of biochemical and molecular methods, especially those involving enzymes and characterizing responses to stress and environmental change, using biophysical and biochemical approaches.
