Biography
Dr. Weiping Tang joined the faculty of UW-Madison in 2007. His lab focuses on synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and chemical biology. Novel compounds for the treatment of hyperlipidemia, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, cancer, and infectious diseases. new methods for the synthesis and modification of biologically active alkaloids and carbohydrates.
