Biography
Professor Carla M. Pugh pursued her MD from Howard University College of Medicine, in year 1992,further she did her General Surgery Residency from Howard University Hospital, from year 1992-1997 Professor Carla M. did her PhD from Stanford University School of Education, in year 2001.She did her Clinical Fellowship in Acute Care Surgery from University of Michigan in year 2009 Professor Carla M. Pugh also holds Clinical Specialties- Dr. Pugh is certified by the American Board of Surgery. She specializes in general surgery. She is a member of the Department of Surgery’s Section of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. Dr. Pugh’s research interests concern the use of simulation technology for medical and surgical education assessment.
