Catherine Andrews

Biography

Education PhD, University of Wisconsin-Madison; Continuing and Vocational Education MS, University of Wisconsin-Madison; Nursing BS, University of San Francisco- San Francisco, CA; Nursing Dr. Andrews has a broad background in educating learners and brings many years of experience to her current role as a clinical associate professor. She has been employed as both an Inservice educator and Director of Education in several hospital settings. As faculty in two private colleges, she has taught multiple courses in undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs. Her doctoral research guides her interest and expertise in curriculum. She has successfully redesigned several nursing courses using Narrative Pedagogy and has presented at national and international conferences and written articles showcasing this innovative approach to teaching and learning.
