Biography
Professor Gheorghe Craciun pursued his B.S.in year 1994 from University of Bucharest, Romania,then he did his Ph.D.in year 2002 from Ohio State University (Martin Feinberg),he also did his Postdoctoral from year 2002 to 05 from Ohio State University. His awards and honours includes- • Sigma Xi Certificate of Distinction for Outstanding Research Scholarship, 2001 • NSF Mathematical Biosciences Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship, 2002 • 1st prize, Biocomplexity VII Conference, 2005 • Vilas Associates Award, 2013 Professor Gheorghe Craciun has also published many artcals such as "Dynamical properties of Discrete Reaction Networks" and "Modelling the endocrine control of vitellogenin production in female rainbow trout".
Research Interest
Mathematical and computational methods for understanding dynamical properties of biochemical networks, such as gene regulatory networks, signaling pathways, and metabolic networks
