Biography
Dr. Jeff Pothof completed his Emergency Medicine training at the University of Michigan Emergency Medicine Residency Program. During his last two years of residency he completed a Graduate Medical Education Scholars Program in Healthcare Administration. He was elected Chief Resident during his fourth year of residency. Dr. Pothof is the Medical Director for Quality at UW Health and the Service Chief for Emergency Medicine at the William S. Middleton VA Hospital. Dr. Pothof is a flight physician for UW Med Flight. His interests are in Emergency Department Operations as well as Quality Improvement and Patient Safety.
