Biography
Dr.Lucian Lozonschi did his MD from, GT Popa University of Medicine, 1995. he did his Clinical and Research Fellowship from First Department of Surgery, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan from year 1996-1999.Further he did his Surgery Internship from Mount Sinai University Hospital, New York, NY 1999-2000 and Surgery Residency from Albert Einstein – Montefiore University Hospitals, New York, NY 2000-2004 Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship, Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, 2004-2006 Dr. Lozonschi practices adult cardiac surgery and is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. His interests include transcatheter heart valve therapies, robotic and minimally invasive cardiovascular operations including thoracoscopic treatment of atrial fibrillation, partial sternotomy valve operations and arterial beating heart revascularization. He also specializes in heart failure surgery, including placement of mechanical heart assist devices and heart transplantation.
