Education: PhD University of Wisconsin-Madison MS, University of Wisconsin-Madison BS, University of Wisconsin-Madison Post-Doc1 University of London, London, UK Post-Doc2 University of Wisconsin-Madison Dr. Brown is a Professor of Research Methodology and Medical Statistics in the Schools of Nursing, Medicine, and Public Health at the University of Wisconsin. He has been author or co-author on more than 200 peer-reviewed publications. His expertise is in applied statistics and research design. He has particular interest and expertise in psychometrics, longitudinal analyses, and multi-level models for assessing potential mediating pathways. For the last 10 years Dr. Brown has been actively involved in researching medication errors and health systems operations. He has received numerous awards regarding research methods over the years.
