Cecelia Brewington

Biography

Cecelia C. Brewington, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Brewington leads the Diagnostic Radiology program, which serves patients both at UT Southwestern in Dallas and in the community. Certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology, she also serves as Co-Medical Director of UT Southwestern’s CT Lung Cancer Screening Program. In addition to her clinical and teaching activities, Dr. Brewington holds a number of administrative roles, including serving as Chair of the Medical Center’s Accountable Care Organization (ACO) Utilization High-Cost Imaging Committee. Dr. Brewington’s research interests include 3-D ultrasound evaluation of urinary incontinence treatments and computed tomography (CT) lung perfusion. She has published a number of scholarly articles and delivered many national and international presentations related to her specialty.
