Biography
Isabel Chan, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UT Southwestern. She specializes in pain management for individuals suffering from musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative injuries, and neuropathic pain. After earning her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Chan completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Prior to joining the UT Southwestern faculty, Dr. Chan was an Assistant Professor at the Texas Institute of Rehabilitation and Research. In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Chan teaches PM&R residents and medical students at UT Southwestern. Her research focuses on female physician wellness. She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP), and the Texas Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Society.
