Biography
Dr. Jain received her medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and graduated with the institute’s scholarship for the highest performance in all clinical subjects. She subsequently completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Iowa, Iowa City. During residency, Dr Jain was involved in research in pulmonary hypertension as well as research directed at understanding sleep-wake dynamics and reducing delirium in the medical ICU. She also takes a keen interest in medical education and designed a pilot ultrasound curriculum for medical students during their internal medicine clerkship at Iowa. Dr Jain brings to UTSW a strong background in research and medical education. Outside of medicine, her interests include travelling, reading and spending time with her family.
