Biography
Mr. Arthur J. Shannon, also known as Art, has been Senior Vice President and Head of Investor Relations & Communications at Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. since June 19, 2017. Mr. Shannon served as Vice President of Global Corporate Affairs and European Investor Relations at Perrigo Company Public Limited Company since February 19, 2016 until June 2017. Mr. Shannon served as Vice President of Investor Relations and Global Communication at Perrigo Company Public Limited Company until February 19, 2016. He served as Director of Investor Relations at NextEra Energy, Inc. ( also known as,FPL Group Inc.) since April 14, 2003. Mr. Shannon joined FPL Group from Dynegy, Inc., where he served as its Senior Director of Investor Relations. Mr. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & finance from Georgetown University in 1991 and subsequently spent four years working for the university in its accounting department.
